He is risen. Kanye West dropped his sixth studio album, Yeezus, on Tuesday–just days after Kim Kardashian dropped his first child. After months of enigmatic ad campaigns, SNL performances and New York Times interviews, the album is officially here. All indications pointed to Yeezus displaying an even darker and angrier Kanye West than his previous album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Those indicators were spot-on.
Like many great artists before him, Kanye West has an unparalleled ability to offend mainstream culture and make white people uncomfortable.
