Unreleased: Chuck Strangers, Capital Steez & Uno Hype – “The Lounge”
Check out this previously unreleased joint featuring Pro Era’s Chuck Strangers and the late Capital Steez with our boy Uno Hype.
As you might imagine, the track is dope as hell. Pro Era has become one of the hottest groups in rap music, but it is the performance of D.C.’s own, Uno Hype, that really sticks out.
Hearing Uno Hype hold his own on a track with the enormous presence of a posthumous Capital Steez verse bodes well for the future.

Saturday night was a proud night for the DMV’s burgeoning music scene. Twelve of the area’s best and brightest acts shared the stage at the Hamilton and the result was a resounding display of the diverse talent that resides in the D.C. area.
Earlier this year, Brightest Young Things released its list of “Top 25 DMV Artists to Watch In 2013.” The article generated such positive feedback that BYT decided to go ahead and make it into a live mixtape of sorts.

We are really, really stoked for tomorrow’s D.C. Emerging Artists Super Sampler, Vol. 1 at Hamilton Live. Local rapper Uno Hype is among those artists on the bill. This kid can spit. Check out his latest video for “We Were Kings (feat. Hassani Kwess).”
