Gucci Mane unloads on three-day Twitter rant

guccimane

I hope imagine most of you have more worthy pursuits than following Gucci Mane’s three-day Twitter rant, but I sure don’t. So, here is what you are missing from the guy with an ice cream cone tattooed on his face.

Over the weekend, Gucci Mane began trading barbs with fellow Brick Squad members Waka Flocka Flame, OJ Da Juiceman, Frenchie and variety of other affiliated artists, DJs and producers. This has all but confirmed the long-held belief that Brick Squad is pretty much done.

Now, Gucci has taken aim at basically everyone in the rap game: Drake, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, T.I., Young Jeezy, etc.

Some of the juicier material deals with Gucci claiming to have bedded almost every female artist in the industry, in addition to several other artists’ significant others.

Gucci Mane’s borderline illiteracy kind of makes this into a fun game. It’s like a puzzle where you have to decode an ancient scroll to find who he and Waka have double-penetrated.

Anyway, the good folks at Complex have a much more exhaustive account of all the nonsense, but I added a few of the more recent, colorful tweets below:

Beef: Black Keys’ Patrick Carney Trolls Justin Bieber, Fans

This is the weirdest/most entertaining celebrity beef we have seen in quite some time. It all started when a TMZ reporter asked Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney for his opinion on Justin Biber’s Grammy snub.

“He’s rich, right? Grammy’s are for music, not for money. He’s making a lot of money. He should be happy, I guess,” said Carney.

In response, Bieber issued the following tweet:

What ensued was an onslaught of Beliebers pelting Carney with death threats and homophobic slurs via Twitter.

The grown-up thing to do here, would have been to ignore it and move on. Thankfully, Carney took the low road, changing the name on his Twitter account to Justin Bieber and replacing his photo with a photo of the Canadian heartthrob.

After Carney had the audacity to jack the Bieb’s swag, he began re-tweeting some of the more hateful, yet less grammatically correct, messages he received. Check out Carney’s Twitter account for some hilarious/alarming tweets from the youths.

Lil’ B Releases Diss Track Aimed at Joey Bada$$

Say what you will about Lil’ B’s flow, but dude knows how to use the shit out of the internet. The cult-like masses who bow to the Based God went ape shit Tuesday evening when Lil’ B tweeted a link to the video below.

The motive remains unclear and confusing, as most things do when Lil’ B is involved. For whatever reason, it seems that he has taken exception to Pro Era rapper Joey Bada$$’s stage surname.

His whole schtick kind of revolves around the fact that he is weird and sucks at rapping (it works better than you would think), so it is strange for him launch a diss record at a legitimately talented rapper.

As for Joey Bada$$’s reaction, he seems more amused than insulted.

Stay tuned, it should get interesting–or at least weirder.
