Shots ring out at Fat Trel’s release party

Local rapper Fat Trel was scheduled to perform tracks off his new mixtape, “SDMG (Sex, Drugs, Money, Guns)” at a Manhattan club Wednesday evening. Just after midnight Thursday morning, as Fat Trel was set to take the stage, a gunman opened fire near the bar, injuring four people.

Police responded to a call of shots fired at New York club SOB’s around 12:15 a.m. Two people were transported to Beth Israel Medical Center, and the other two victims suffered graze wounds.

New York Daily News has some eye-witness accounts of the incident, though the details are still murky.
