OK, we’ll level with you, this week’s shows leave a lot to be desired. This might be a good week to get out and enjoy a rooftop bar instead. With that said, we are pretty stoked on the Thermals’ show Thursday night.

Fall Out Boy Is Back

Pop-punk juggernaut, Fall Out Boy, has announced a full-fledged comeback: New single, new tour dates and a release date for the band’s next album.

The new single, “My Songs Know What You Did In the Dark (Light ‘Em Up),” reminds us that Patrick Stump loves catchy hooks and ridiculously long song titles. The video features the ubiquitous 2 Chainz lighting shit on fire, and it is kind of awesome.

The band released the following statement Monday morning:

When we were kids the only thing that got us through most days was music. It’s why we started Fall Out Boy in the first place. This isn’t a reunion because we never broke up. We needed to plug back in and make some music that matters to us.The future of Fall Out Boy starts now.
Save Rock And Roll…

Fall Out Boy will release Save Rock and Roll on May 7 and has a date with D.C. at the 9:30 Club on May 31.
